Foremen
& Employee Accountability
MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
- Actively promote and communicate the company’s safety standards to each employee as
a condition of employment.
- Each team member is 100% accountable for their actions in the work place. Personal
accountability is key to ATG’s success and is reinforced by our safety management
team.
- Listen to each employee and provide concise direction and follow-through.
- Acknowledge and praise employees for a safety track record.
- Pay a person what they are worth and provide the proper tools needed to perform the work
in a safe and timely fashion.
ATG FOREMEN
- Establish and maintain a core group of foremen, reinforcing leadership by example.
- The mandatory attendance of ATG’s weekly safety meetings is required from each
foreman. All safety procedures and guidelines are reviewed by ATG foremen and their crews,
including pre-hazard analysis.
- Proactively plan for and adapt to changes that are made to each employee’s work
assignment.
- Make responsible decisions and maintain personal accountability through the
company’s D.A.T.E. program.
- Maintain proper communication between workers and delegate job responsibilities as
needed.
